Treble Honor Choir Tryouts

Well, today I was supposed to go to the school at 7 am to catch the bus so that we could go to the school that the tryouts were being held at, only since I am happen to be in the wrong choir (I'll explain that later) all of the information gets jumbled before it gets to me. So, instead of showing up there at 7, I showed up at 8, because my directors told me to. :P Yep. they lied.

SO, my parents had to call like three people, and I had to check tons of different sites before we figured out where we were supposed to go. :P THEN, since I was later than everyone else, I didn't get to warm-up, I only got to sing through the songs once, and I felt stupid. Luckily, two of my friends were there so I didn't feel completely stupid.

Haha, so things got a little less hectic. So I sat there for a couple hours with my friends talking until one of them had to go. We moved back to our proper seats (we were sitting in the wrong school so we could sit with our friend) and then she started illegally singing all kinds of catchy tunes that we had sung before in choir together. And of course, this being singing, I couldn't help but join. Yep, I broke the rules. xD

After that, they called my name and I felt WAY nervous. My heart was beating so fast and I kept trying to keep calm. I got to stand there forever listening to TONS of girls mess up. It was REALLY intimidating. :P And then at last is was my turn, and I felt so nervous, and I could just hear myself mess up beyond repair. The music started and I started singing (pretty badly, in my opinion) and then when it came time to sing the sight-read stuff, I froze up, and you could just hear the crickets chirp. It was WAY embarrassing! But, come to find out, everybody bombed the sight-reading, so I felt a little better. :P

So, about the wrong choir. WELL, my teachers wanted to put me in the top choir like really bad, but the office people are being stupid and won't let them switch me until NEXT semester, so I have to wait FOREVER to get in!!! Anyway, I won a scholarship to get free voice lessons (which are like 20 dollars a lesson) every other day at school!!! :D  It is SOOO exciting, and I get to start lessons in November!!!! But, I STILL don't like having to wait to get into the other choir. :P And they don't tell us stuff in concert womans,     because like three people signed up to tryout from there, and I was the only one who went through it!!! So the instructions always get messed up for me. :P

Anyway, I will tell you the results later.
