Science Projects and Procrastinators

Today, the craziest thing happened. I didn't do an assignment for a class, and I was freaking out and stressing over it because we had to present that day. Not only that, but it was a group assignment, so I felt like a horrible person for not doing my part. I go into the class room, crossing my fingers and hoping that we had a sub. We didn't.

Then, I started hoping that I would be last, but some people hadn't brought it, so she told them to turn it into her at the end of the day, and since we only had few grous, now there was no way that I would be last and get put on another day (I had done part of the assignment, but I would get an awful grade if I turned it in like this, so I couldn't wait a day).

She called my name and my heart skipped a beat. I was thinking, "Crap, now I have to present first of all things!". It turned out that my partener had not put our names on it, and she was just checking that it was mine.

While she was printing out a few brochures, she put on a video. She was having so much fun baffling our minds, that she put on another one (a segment of a video). Then she saw the full version, and clicked on it. It trned out to be 45 minutes long, but she just wanted to show us the first bit. When it was over, we started moaning and whining. She is really nice once in a while (I promise; she can be really mean) and this time, she told us since we worked so hard on this HUGE packet (It was ENORMOUS, people. Enormous.) that was her treat. So I got to watch the movie. I was saved!

Moral of the story: Don't procrastinate, because you only create sweat which may not even be justified.
