So I thought that we could focus on my biggest interest;WRITING. (Yes, pink. Because I just said so. xD) Here goes:
Ever since I was a little girl heading into kindergarten, I had wanted to read. But, imagine my disappointment when I discovered I had to WAIT! Until next YEAR!!!!! MAJOR calamity. Anyway, so I almost quit going (Almost, mind you. There was still fingerprinting to look forward to xD)
So then later (After I had learned to read), yet another catastrophe occurred. My mom put CHARLES DICKENS on the TOP shelf. We are talking MAJOR cruelty here.(I know, I had an oppressed childhood. xD)
But, despite all of everyone's "helpfulness", I finally achieved the skills of reading and writing. And I didn't waste them. I have written for as long as I can remember. I have an annoying habit of examining everyone and everything, too. I can't help it; I'm snoopy. EVERYTHING is my business. Truth.
Anyhow, so I am nosy. Isn't everyone? So, my life has practically revolved around writing. I know, I am lame. But I don't think anyone can understand. Everything I hear and see, everything I experience, becomes a future novel in my mind. I know that it sounds way weird. But hey, it is who I am, right? But why am I telling you this, you can probably see that at a glance.
But back to writing. Poetry is my thing. I am of the opinion that ALL poems should rhyme. That was how it was when I was a kid. However, when I first sat down to write poetry, I discovered that non-rhyming poetry has a stronger emotion and story to it than cutesy old rhyming stuff. I LOVE poetry. I could say that a thousand time, and you still wouldn't understand how much I mean that. But I will try. I LOVE poetry. I LOVE poetry. I LOVE poetry. I LOVE poetry. I LOVE poetry. I LOVE poetry. I LOVE poetry. I LOVE poetry. I LOVE poetry. I LOVE poetry. I LOVE poetry. I LOVE poetry. I LOVE poetry. I LOVE poetry. I LOVE poetry. I LOVE poetry. I LOVE poetry. I LOVE poetry. I LOVE poetry. I LOVE poetry. I LOVE poetry. I LOVE poetry. I LOVE poetry. I LOVE poetry. I LOVE poetry. I LOVE poetry. I LOVE poetry. I LOVE poetry. I LOVE poetry. I LOVE poetry.
Okay, so I think you get the picture. So, half the time that I write poetry--Oh, yeah, so this is a trade secret,so don't repeat it, 'Kay?--Here is is; half of the time I don't even know what I am talking about! (It is honest to goodness true). I hear these words in my head and I just write them down. I suppose I subconsciously write it, but it don't when I write it down. That is how it is when I write stories; it is like it is already there, I just have to be patient enough and quiet enough to hear them, and quick enough to write them down.
I love to write fictions of all types as well. I guess I just love writing in general. xD I know, I could have just said that from the start and left it at that, but I felt that some issues needed to be explained (Me rising above my oppressors (family xD). Besides that, this makes it just flat out beefier. So there. xD
So, this is is my third post. I hope my three-person audience enjoys this. (You know who you are xD)
And that, my dear readers (few though you are), is what I have to say! ;)
Bye everyone, and HAPPY EASTER! :)
OMG I feel the same way. Like, EXACTLY the same way. If I'm swimming, I imagine a scene where my characters are swimming. If I'm dancing, I imagine my characters dancing. If I'm riding a bucking bull with a rabbit on my head while wearing a clown suit with purple dots . . . well, it's not the prettiest picture in my head, but the same thing xD
ReplyDeleteDon't be afraid to talk so truthfully like this - truth is, readers love it. It's always nice to know there are people just like you out there ^^
Haha! See, I know I wasn't the only indescribable weirdo out there. ;)
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the club ^^ Indescribable weirdos, UNITE!
DeleteI am SO joining that!!!! :D
ReplyDeleteDon't worry, I imagine EVE RYTHING as a novEl. Honestly. If I say something "cool" , I make a mental note to write it in my novel. Sometimes, the actions my crazy family does makes me imagine it's a novel.
ReplyDeleteIt's not weird. Every writer has thoughts like that.
And it's called inspiration.
And this was told to you from a weird 12 year old in the 7th grade
